ESD environments
The ESD symbol (triangle with hand) marks the ESD version, as printed on the Hi5 X ESD gloves. According to the product data sheet, the product is suitable for use in ESD environments; the data sheet names neither an ESD standard nor dissipation values. The standard for the electrostatic properties of protective gloves is EN 16350.

Food contact
The symbol with a glass and fork stands for materials in contact with food. A declaration of conformity for food contact is available for HI561 and HI561S; the test report names a blue glove as the sample.

The symbols come from the print artwork on the gloves. Items without a symbol on the glove (for example the cut level, latex, winter and the PPE category) appear as text labels. The official symbol graphics of the standards are found in the standard texts (DIN Media) and in the registered symbols of the ISO Online Browsing Platform. The data sheet, the instructions for use and the labelling on the glove are authoritative for the marking on the product. If a symbol is missing, the data sheet does not name the feature.
