What is ISO 9001?
ISO 9001 is an international standard for quality management systems. It sets requirements for how an organisation plans, documents, controls and improves its processes. What is certified is the management system of the organisation, not individual products.
What does DS SafetyWear's certificate confirm?
TÜV AUSTRIA certifies that DS SafetyWear Arbeitsschutzprodukte GmbH applies a management system in line with EN ISO 9001:2015 for the scope named on the certificate. Initial certification was on 26 March 2025; the certificate is valid until 25 March 2028 and is subject to regular surveillance audits.
Does that mean the gloves are certified?
No. ISO 9001 concerns the management system, not the product.
